If you train hard, you will not only be hard. You will be hard to beat.

Metis Public School  abundantly  provides  sports  facilities  like indoor  sports  complex,  Basketball  courts,  Football  ground,  Cricket ground  etc.  Different  coaches  and  instructors  have  been  appointed to train the students and prepare them to excel at different levels of competitions. Students are imparted extensive training for Football, Skating, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling and Cricket. Apart  from  outdoor  sports,  a  huge  indoor  sports  complex  has  been set   up   for   training   students   in   Table   Tennis,   Chess,   Carom, Badminton  and  many  more  indoor  games.  Martial  arts  are  also taught to the students for self defence. Students are always fervently encouraged to participate in different interschool  competitions.  Also,  we  celebrate  Sports  Day  every  year with tremendous zest and enthusiasm. No doubt, our students bring pride and honour to the school by attaining spectacular positions in sports  and  games  from  time  to  time. 

The  winners  are  awarded notable prizes accordingly.

750/ - for District Winner

1500/- for State Winner 

3000/- for National Winner

(State Winners onwards also awarded on School Annual Function)
