Cultural Activities
Department of Youth Welfare and Cultural affairs provides a platform for the students to inculcate and groom their talent and leadership qualities. It is pertinent
to note here that the students of the College won the Ist position in Rituals, IInd in Mimicry in Zonal Youth Festival 2016 of Karnal Zone. And also the Ist position
in Rituals in Ratnawali in 2016 and Inter-Zonal Youth & Cultural affairs at Kurukshetra University in 2016. In the 2017 Youth Festival of Karnal Zone of
Kurukshetra University our students won IInd position in Rituals.
Sports
If you train hard, you will not only be hard. You will be hard to beat.
Metis Public School abundantly provides sports facilities like indoor sports complex, Basketball courts, Football ground, Cricket ground etc. Different coaches
and instructors have been appointed to train the students and prepare them to excel at different levels of competitions. Students are imparted extensive training
for Football, Skating, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling and Cricket. Apart from outdoor sports, a huge indoor sports complex has been set up for training
students in Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Badminton and many more indoor games. Martial arts are also taught to the students for self defence. Students are
always fervently encouraged to participate in different interschool competitions. Also, we celebrate Sports Day every year with tremendous zest and enthusiasm.
No doubt, our students bring pride and honour to the school by attaining spectacular positions in sports and games from time to time.
The winners are awarded notable prizes accordingly.
